【导师介绍】

【项目介绍】
候选人将集中于以下1至2个项目:(1)由有害藻类毒素和其他与气候变化相关的环境污染物引起的女性卵巢毒性的分子机制;(2)排卵期的避孕新发现;(3)化学疗法诱发卵巢早衰和不育的分子机制。
要求
合格的候选人必须具有博士学位或同等的博士学位
分子生物学,动物科学或生殖与发育生物学或毒理学方面的经验
候选人还应该能够独立工作,具有批判性思维,进行团队合作
具有出色的口头沟通能力和书面写作能力。

There are two postdoc positions available in Dr. Shuo Xiao’s lab at the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Ernest School of Pharmacy/Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences Institute (EOHSI), Rutgers University. The positions are funded by grants from the National Institute of Environmental Health (NIEHS) and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
【导师介绍】
Dr. Xiao’s research focuses on how environmental chemicals and clinical drugs affect female ovarian functions and fertility. Another major research interest is to use the 3D ovarian tissue or follicle culture model and microfluidic and organ-on-a-chip technologies for ovulation-based new contraceptive discovery. 【项目介绍】
The candidates will focus on 1-2 of the following projects: (1) molecular mechanisms of female ovarian toxicities caused by harmful algal bloom toxins and other emerging climate change- related environmental contaminants; (2) novel ovulation-based contraceptive discovery; (3) molecular mechanisms of chemotherapy-induced premature ovarian failure and infertility.
